Trans* Success

Brandon is from Oakland, CA and transitioned at the age of 40 (now 48).  He is the father of three, one of which still lives with him.  Brandon was featured in a documentary on trans parents and says:

I didn’t mind being pregnant. I hear a lot of (trans) guys say oh I could never be pregnant. I could never have kids. It just wouldn’t be right…But for me, I guess it’s part of my history… You know, it would have been really nice if when I was 15 or 16, I knew about this and I could have just transitioned, and I could have just been a regular guy the whole way through. The only thing that makes it worthwhile is the fact that I have my kids.
