
Richard Curtis grew up in Yorkshire in a mining family. He has never married nor had children. Active in sport and music at school, he developed a passion for sailing at his university. He competed at National level for 15 years, winning numerous championships. Richard qualified in 1991 from St. Bartholomew’s Medical College, London and became a Doctor. He did a variety of hospital posts before becoming a General Practitioner in 1995.
In the last 10 years he has primarily worked as a GP on the South Coast and later in London. He also works as a Hospital Practitioner in a genitourinary medicine clinic. (An STD clinic).
