Alex is from Washington, DC and is an interesting case because he transitioned at the age of 38 and has a full grown child who, at the time was 21 years of age, was also in transition. Alex was filmed in a documentary on trans parents and said:
That time during the pregnancy was the only time - absolutely the only time - I felt right with a female body.
