Morty Diamond is a writer, performance artist, and trans porn producer deconstructing gender and teasing apart binaries, one mind-blowing orgasm at a time.  His most well known book is called “From the Inside Out” about radical FTM transition.  Deep into his Morty Diamond Productions studio, however, director/producer Diamond has turned the trans/queer porn genre upside down with thoughtfully sexy and wildly arousing works that engage both your brains and your bits.

In 2003 he began making porn due to his unhappiness with the amount of erotic movies showing transgender sex in a positive and sexy way.  Having saved up a few thousand dollars for a trip to Europe, he canceled his plans and shot his first erotic film.  Morty holds the mantra that you should “do what you love” and says the biggest misconception about trans folks and trans identity in the industry is that there is a particular “trans body” type.  “Transgender people have a myriad of body types,” he says, “some choose hormones and surgery and some do not. I wish more people would understand that you do not have to ‘graduate’ to a trans body by altering it somehow.”
